Achievements in GAIL:

• Extensive experience in Gas Management, Operations & Maintenance, Business Development and Pipeline Projects in South, West, Central and North India.
• Successfully automated the Gas Flow measurement, Joint Ticketing, Invoicing and Payment of complete Gas distribution business of GAIL through National Gas Management Centr (NGMC) and Regional Centres.
• The major pipeline projects completed successfully are:
• 3126 Crore, 30”/24” x 800 km Dahej Uran and Dabhol Panvel Pipelines (DUPL-DPPL).
• Construction & commissioning of GAIL’s most prestigious and challenging Dahej-Vijaipur Pipeline Project – DVPL (Rs. 3100 Crore, 48” x 600km).
• Construction & commissioning of Vijaipur-Dadri Pipeline Project – VDPL (Rs.2500 Crore, 48” x 510km) and of Dadri Bawana Nangal pipeline – DBNPL (Rs. 2000 Crore, 36”/30”/24” x335 Km).

Other Success Areas in GAIL were:

• Commissioning of Dabhol LNG facility of GAIL.
• Development & Commercialization of GAIL’s state of the art Meter proving facility at Hazira, first in Asia.
• Worked as Head of Regional Pipeline System in Cauvery Basin and in charge for Operation and Maintenance of Regional pipeline system in Krishna Godavari Basin.
• Worked in International Projects for acquisition of Pipeline projects abroad and finalized the blue print for participation in International projects.
• Consultant to ADB in revamping of Gas Pipeline System in Afghanistan.
• Working group member for Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan- India (TAPI) pipeline project.
• Working Group member for development of Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU) at Kakinada.
• Member of Coordination team to finalize the Indian Standards for Metering Design and Construction under the aegis of Bureau of Indian Standards.
